Schmidt Elevator Warranty Policy

1. Warranty Coverage
Schmidt Elevator provides a twelve (12) months warranty from the date of delivery. During the warranty period,
Schmidt Elevator will repair or replace defective parts free of charge, provided that such defects arise from
manufacturing or material faults.

2. Scope of Warranty
The warranty covers the following main components:
     • Gearless traction machine / motor
     • Elevator control system and controller
     • VVVF drive system
     • Door operator system
     • Safety devices and sensors
     • Car operating panel and hall buttons
     • Intercom system and other electrical components
Replacement of defective parts under this warranty will be provided at no cost for parts.

3. Exclusions — Items Not Covered Under Warranty
     • Damage caused by improper use, misuse, negligence, or overloading
     • Damage due to power fluctuations, lightning, fire, flood, or other natural disasters
     • Damage resulting from unauthorized repair, alteration, or modification
     • Normal wear and tear items including light bulbs, fuses, rubber components, cosmetic finishes, and decorative elements
     • Damage caused by improper maintenance or servicing by non-authorized personnel

4. Installation & Maintenance Requirements
This warranty shall remain valid only if installation is carried out by authorized technicians of Sakura Power Limited
and the elevator receives regular maintenance in accordance with Schmidt Elevator’s recommended schedules and
guidelines. Failure to comply will render the warranty null and void.

5. Service Support During Warranty Period
     • Technical support and troubleshooting assistance
     • Replacement of defective parts (if required)
     • On-site inspection by authorized service engineers
Service response will be provided as promptly as possible upon receipt of an official service request.

6. Warranty Limitations
     • Civil or masonry work
     • Transportation or lifting of heavy components (if required)
     • Any damage to building structures caused by elevator malfunction
     • Indirect or consequential losses including loss of use, business interruption, or loss of revenue
